In this session, we will demonstrate how to build light client Chrome extension wallets using the Substrate Connect wallet template. Our demo will showcase how we can fork Polkadot JS Extension and add light client support toit.
This approach is crucial for the greater Web3 ecosystem, as the widespread adoption of light clients reduces reliance on centralized RPCs. By enabling users to interact with blockchain networks directly and securely, light clients foster greater decentralization and resilience in the Web3 infrastructure.
