Building on our work with low-level libraries and empowering dApp developers through the Polkadot-API, we are now advancing to the next phase: creating a robust set of devtools designed to meet the evolving needs of the Polkadot ecosystem. As a showcase, we are developing the Polkadot-API Developer Console, but our vision goes beyond just one tool. Our goal is to equip the community with the resources to build their own tools using our modular libraries, preventing the lock-in issues that have previously limited innovation in Polkadot’s devtool environment.
These devtools and the Developer Console will allow other projects in the ecosystem to enhance their developer experience and seamlessly interact with their networks, all with a developer-first approach. While other web3 ecosystems have set high standards for developer experience, we recognize this is an area where Polkadot has room to grow. Through the Polkadot-API and this new suite of devtools, we are committed to closing that gap and enhancing the developer experience within Polkadot ecosystem.
